The 19th annual Denso Spark Plugs NHRA Four-Wide Nationals 2018 will be taking place at the Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. At the beginning of the year, the race is 4th of twenty-four events through the 2018 NHRA season and the 1st of 2 yearly events in Las Vegas. The speedway makes wider The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway to 4 paths, providing fans on the West Coast a chance to watch one of the leading shows in drag racing.
The last year winners of this event were Tanner Gray (Pro Stock), Brown (Top Fuel) and Tommy Johnson Jr. (Funny Car). This event will be live air on FS1.
A year ago the Brown got his 2nd straight succeed in the spring Vegas race in Top Fuel, seize the 300th team succeeds for Don Schumacher Racing. The 3 times winner finished 2017 with 4 wins and ten final round appearances, and if he will get the 1st victory in 2018, it will be 50 successive of his career Top Fuel. Other drivers also have won this title championship, such as Tony Schumacher, Brittany Force, Doug Kalitta, Steve Torrence, Clay Millican, Richie Crampton, Terry McMillen and Leah Pritchett.
On Friday 6 April the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series qualifying round 1 and 2 will begin12:30 and 3:30 P.M, and last two qualifying rounds on Saturday, 7 April 2018 at the time 12:10 and 2:45 P.M. on Saturday 1st round of the K&N Horsepower Challenge will take place at noon and on Sunday 8 April 2018 the final eliminations are scheduled for 12:00 P.M.
