In 2017 the tough driver Brittany Force secured his 1st Top Fuel world championship through the eliminations and proceeded to win the occasion to top spectacular season. Tommy Johnson Jr. raced to the event and win in Funny Car, whereas Robert Hight has got the 2nd place in the race and get his 2nd category world championship.In 2018 Steve Torrence left a mark on the world as the first Nhra Mello Yello Drag Racing Series driver to sweep the well known Countdown to the Championship.
